We’re excited to be looking for a freelance coach to lead our horse care sessions at Scropton Horse Centre and become part of our friendly, dedicated team.
This is a really rewarding opportunity to help us deliver engaging activities with and around horses that support health, wellbeing and sport. We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for developing people through horses — developing life skills and confidence just as much as equestrian ability.
Our horse care sessions are varied, ranging from supporting participants to achieve horse care qualifications to delivering more therapeutic, wellbeing-focused experiences. You’ll need a solid knowledge of horse care and confident horse-handling experience. Formal qualifications are an advantage, but we’re equally happy to consider equivalent hands-on experience.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working with a wide range of people, supporting individuals of all abilities to get the very best from their time with us. Experience working with people with additional needs would be valuable, along with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in participants’ lives.
We’re initially looking for someone available:
· Saturdays, 10.30am–12.30pm
· Tuesdays, 5.30pm–7.30pm
There is potential for additional hours as the role develops.
If you’d like to join our team in this role please send your CV and a covering letter to apply@scroptonequestrian.com
